Do I have to sign the contract first before I can taste your menu items?
Absolutely not. We believe that our food sells itself and encourage our couples to try several different entrees, salads and hors d'oeurvres before they make a commitment.

Do I have to order my own rentals if my wedding venue doesn’t supply them?
As part of the wedding services package, West Bay Gourmet arranges for all of the necessary rentals. We can help coordinate specialty linens and china custom to your event. We will even meet with the venue coordinator to discuss the best table layout, cocktail hour set-up and guest arrival times.
Can we supply our own alcohol?
Yes, we are required by law to handle and serve it, but you can either choose to have West Bay Gourmet supply you with a full or beer and wine bar, or you may supply your own.
I am not using a florist-who puts out my centerpieces on the day of? Everyone will be at the church!
You are welcome to drop off anything that you would like at the venue (favors, centerpieces, placecards, etc.) and we will be happy to put them out for you. Often, we will meet to discuss all of these details the week prior to your wedding.
I don’t have a planner so, who coordinates our announcements, first dance and toast?
All of our bridal couples have a designated event coordinator on site to assist with the formalities. We will discuss your event wit the DJ or bandleader to coordinate your arrival, announcements and dances. We will also cue the photographer as to important events during the evening (such as cake cutting).
I live out of state as does my fiance. Can you help us with recommendation on lodging and local events for our guest?
Of course! We have many relationships with local inns, B&Bs and hotels. We are happy to let you know which ones are good and help you plan other wedding weekend events such as the rehearsal dinner and post wedding brunch.
